And this closes out my holiday/end of the year mix. One of the other three from “Midwinter Graces” that I like. (The third one is “Comfort and Joy.”) 2010 has been quite possibly a combination of the worst year and the best year all rolled into one for me, so I’m kind of glad to see it go and looking forward to the new year.

Even if I wasn’t the huge Parker Posey fan that I am, I would still love this song. It makes me miss winter in New York City like mad crazy.

Love me some Heather Nova. I was so envious when she played her first US show in a decade last year and I wasn’t there.

I’ve heard a lot of people cover this song and this is my favorite version out of them all.

One of only three songs I like on her “Midwinter Graces” album but I really like them. All the rest are unchecked on my iTunes… sad.
